Hi. I'm Susan Hanshaw, a non-denominational minister and certified spiritual counselor. I often get asked how I came to be a wedding officiant. The answer: I followed a calling. After spending twenty years in a corporate marketing career, it became time to do what has come to feel like my life’s work.

My mission now is to bring heart and a richness of meaning to one of the most joyous events in your life. Ordained in 2003, my approach is to create beautiful personalized ceremonies that are so much more than a generic legal ritual. I work most often with couples who don't consider themselves to be religious, but want a meaningful ceremony. Based in Marin County, I offer my officiant services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa and Sonoma counties, and beyond.
